#4—Engage candidates effectively.

This is one of the best ways to practice proper employer branding. If you want hire the best candidates, then you must effectively engage them during the hiring process.

This means setting expectations, communicating with candidates often, and letting them know what the next step of the process is going to be. If you don’t engage with top candidates, then they are more likely to drop out of the interview and hiring process completely. And you can’t hire them if they drop out of the process.
